I’ve been trying to puzzle that one out all weekend as I continue to clean shards of glass from the oven base.
I remember reading a few complaints about exploding Pyrex on Amazon when I was trying to decide whether to get a set for food storage. I went ahead and got it despite the warnings, reasoning to myself that those complaints were probably just exaggerated.
